Parks Building Renovation |

|
1015
Tijeras Avenue NW, Albuquerque This building on the western edge of downtown was built in 1951. Over the years it had seen many renovations that rendered it a maze of tenants spaces with run down infrastructure. The building was gutted so that all that remained was the concrete structure and exterior walls. The exterior facelift gave the building its pride back. The interiors are a profusion of natural light and color. The main lobby is graced with new finishes including a new steel and glass railing on the existing sculptural cast-in-place concrete stairs. A new atrium with skylights cuts through the roof and is finished with refurbished wood panels salvaged from the original Lobby. |
