The Owner of this successful salon in a trendy Nob Hill dared to move his business to an up-and-coming area on the fringe of downtown Albuquerque. The interiors needed to make a simple and bold statement while keeping within the strident budget. Notable materials used: green paint to stimulate the senses, cork flooring for its unique texture, and bear grass embedded in acrylic panels to visually separate salon functions while allowing light to penetrate the entire salon.

Waves was selected as one of the 2006 Top 20 Salons in the country by Salon Today Magazine.
